How many hits will Toad give up tonight?

In Toad's last four starts he's averaged 1.5 hits/ip. In Toad's start in MN he allowed 10 hits.

How many runs will Toad give up?

In Toad's last four starts he's averaged 5.3 runs per start. In Toad's start in MN he gave up 6 runs.

Well, since I'm going to be at the game tonight (in my "Hell Yea!" WSI T-shirt), let's say 8 runs, 2 earned, on 12 hits.

12 Runs, 8 earned, 22 hits. With the Sox winning 13-12. Well I am trying to fight back the bitterness.

Good to see people expecting the worst.

I don't want to see any "Ritchie Sucks" posts later.

May as well have some fun. However I'd love to see Toad have a great outing. Based on Toad's past performance, I'd be surprised - pleasantly surprised.

Hmmm let's see... Ritchie has two modes: the "getting shelled unmercifully" mode and the "pitch just poorly enough to lose" mode. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he's in the latter mode tonight but the Sox give him no support and we lose 4-2.

2 Runs, 8 hits in 7 innings.

What? Someone's got to be an optimist. :gulp:

So how amy errors is that gonna be on the Sox?

I'll go with 7 runs all earned on 16 hits, though we did rock Reed in the last series, I don't have a final score predicted.

7+ IP, 6 hits, 2 runs, takes the loss in a 3-2 game.

Five innings, five runs, eight hits. It is entirely possible that with Nardi now gone (thank God), Ritchie won't be quite as bad. At least now, when there is a mound visit, bad things won't happen immediately afterwards.

No fair! Manuel pulled Toad before he had a chance to give up 8 earned runs. Besides that, he came within 2 feet of giving up 9 earned runs on that near grand slam.

Never underestimate Toad.

Damn we gotta do this more often! :D: But only with The bad pitchers, it would be no fun guessing what Buehrle's numbers would be.

Toad just gives up way too many hits. I don't know if I'm the only one who notices this, but it seems to me that when opposing batters face Toad they have a look of absolute confidence. No fear. The batters just look like they're ready to clobber Toad and they often do.

I don't claim to be an expert, it looks to me that Toad's pitches have decent movement. I don't know what it is everyone hits Toad.

Toad's 6.12 ERA is no fluke. He sucks.

He sucks for average. He sucks for power. He sucks behind the runner. He sucks situationally. He sucks to all fields.

There is only one pitcher who can approach Todd's all-around ability to suck.

Who was the last White Sox pitcher to lose 20 games or more? Will Toad lose more than 20 games? I'd say it's a given.
