I could see Mattingly, with the new ownership and all... a managerial change is common.

Ironic, since Mattingly played for Showalter in New York. As for my picks:

NL. Ozzie. Would have been an "untouchable" until the past few days when he said "I love Fidel Castro" and words to the effect "I'm drunk after every road game--win or lose--'cause I don't leave the hotel".
AL. Farrell. Has to keep the 'Jays in all the way.

AL Valentine
NL Guillen. I don't think he'll make the entire length of his contract, if he doesn't get smoked this year. His act will wear thin in a hurry. Just my opinion, of course.

NL: Guillen- you can get away with **** after you've been in a city off and on for 25 years, were a pretty good shortstop and your brought the 1st World Series Championship in 88 years- but when you've only been in a city for 4 games and you offend people as deeply as he has offended people in Miami- you're not going to recover. He now almost completely "downside" and very little upside for the owners.

NL - Guillen, MIA
AL - Guillen, OAK (after Bob Melvin quits in disgust, the A's take a gamble on Ozzie, since Miami's still paying his contract. The gamble backfires when Ozzie gets in a fistfight while drinking in The Castro after a game)
