2012 rotation would be pretty thin without Gavin:

Who else is there left for us to take from the Blue Jays farm?

I thought Molina was one of their top prospects.

I'd prefer to start trading with a different team. It's boring only dealing with the Jays.

I'm not sure who the BJ's would be willing to part with http://mlbbuzz.yardbarker.com/blog/mlbbuzz/sources_blue_jays_still_pursuing_gavin_floyd/10291117 .
As for who would replace him in the rotation, even though I know I have mentioned it before...I'd like to get John Lannan from the Nats

Considering the Jays have one of the best farm systems in baseball, I have no problem trading with them. Now whether KW gets a suitable haul for him or not is another deal altogether.

Personally, I'd rather wait and see how the season plays out before dealing Floyd. Teams will always be looking for starting pitching in June and July if the Sox should fall out of contention early. Unless Floyd is hurt, he could become more valuable mid season with multiple contenders bidding on his services. Best case scenario is the Sox are surprise contenders and keep Floyd all season.

Yep. The Jays are a great trading partner. Deck, Hutchinson, Marisnick, Syndergaard, Nicolino, Gose, Wojo, Cardona, Jenkins etc.

I hope a trade gets done. Give me one of Hutch, Nicolino, or Syndergaard, plus Deck and I'd be happy.

Give me Drew Hutchison and Kellen Sweeney and I'd be happy. Or maybe Travis Snider could use a fresh start on the Southside.

Arencibia.

Not a bad piece. But he will likely always be a low BA/OBP high power guy. I don't mind 20+ HR power from my catcher though. He will also be quite expendable once uber prospect D'Arnaud is ready.

In the AL and the Cell, 5+ ERA.

Danny Knobler reporting that the Sox and Baltimore had serious discussions this winter about Floyd that nearly resulted in a deal.

We can get that out of Flowers.
Floyd's a legitimate major league starter who is under control for 2 years. We need to get someone legitimate who could turn into a really productive major leaguer for him.

You're putting a lot of stock in Flowers
