He is such an ugly dude, and that hair isn't helping.

Also - TRUCKS AND GUNS.

He signed a multimillion dollar contract with a seven figure bonus.

Why is he doing porno flicks?

If he's going to take that picture, he needs to come out out of bullpen to this song:

I suddenly have the urge to listen to REO Speedwagon and cruise around in an IROC.

Man, that guy is just a disaster in every way.
Incidentally, I actually saw someone wearing a Samardzija jersey one time. If it were any other team besides the Cubs or Red Sox, I'd be surprised.

I don't know, every time I got to a Sox game I see plenty of Beckham jerseys

And he was built up far more than Jeff was. Some people were saying how there was NO WAY they would trade Beckham straight up for Adrian Gonzales.

Jumping the gun fans on both sides of town.

Maybe Samardzija can graduate from baby Bear to full grown one. The Bears could use a receiver.

In the heat of '09 I was tempted to get a Beckham t shirt, but did the smart thing and held off. After 2010 it seemed like the right idea.

Then after the first week of 2011, when Beckham started off hot and I was in attendance when he went about 3-4 in the second home game I discussed the matter with my good baseball friend (not a Sox fan), and we agreed that it was "safe" for me to get a Beckham shirt. Went to te Sunday game with my dad two days later. Bought the shirt that morning and wore it to the game. Hits a home run in the first, and that was literally the end of it. All downhill from there.

Needless to say, I'll be replacing it with a TCM or Danks (or Sale??) shirt this season.

T-shirt's not as bad of investment, though. $25 down the drain is a lot different than $125. And it still could come in handy down the road for ironic purposes. Every time I wear my Mike Sirotka jersey to the park (yeah, I still have one), I get a ton of compliments.

Ironic t shirts ftw. We got one of my friends a Teahen shirt last year for his birthday, and he wears it to games regularly...including when we went to Mets-Padres at Citi Field.

Also, I loved Mike Sirotka. My favorite pitcher when I started following the Sox closely, and he also started the first time I went to New Comiskey.

Heck, you can buy the T-shirts for $15 at Kohl's. I'd buy one of the black T-shirts without thinking twice.

I've only bought 3 jerseys and I haven't regretted any of them. (Buehrle, Frank, and Freddy). Freddy may be the weakest of the 3, but he still was an integral part of the World Series run.

Yeah, but I already have enough black t shirts (especially black Sox t shirts) so I tend to go for the grey, and often the Kohl's selection isn't quite what I want. The grey player tees look different this year, by the way. They're a solid grey more like the uniforms, rather than however you'd describe the whitish grey of the previous ones.

Nah. Jeff makes Larry the Cable Guy look classy.

Maybe Jeff feels if he tries to look like Randy Johnson, somehow he'll be good as Randy Johnson.

I have a Freddy jersey as well. He was a huge part of the 2005 squad and got the "W" in the first World Series clincher in Chicago since 1917. Wear that one with pride.
