Eh. That was probably the one rule that I knew about his clubhouse that I didn't particularly care for.

Shouldn't be a surprise seeing it happened here.

Shouldn't have to be a rule issued by the manager. How about being a professional and getting out to the field on time, period!

Kudos to Ozzie.

It reminds me of the classic Astro's uniforms, just not as classy....

I'll never take anything away from Ozzie for being respectful to the Flag, but it is humorous that he's chosen this as his cause when he's the same guy that stood on the stage after the World Series parade with a Venezuelan flag draped around his body and ended every interview for the following month with "Viva Venezuela!" But now he's an American patriot, yeah.

Why can't he love his homeland and his adopted country?

He can love 17 different countries as far as I'm concerned. I just enjoy the constant dichotomy that defines Ozzie Guillen. The enforcement of the appropriateness of saluting the American flag for the anthem, which should go without saying, needs to be trumpeted in his mind, while at the same time he thought it would be appropriate to wrap himself in a Venezuelan flag at the World Series parade, a circumstance which was awkward at best if not completely inappropriate.

Um....no. Sorry. It wasn't inappropriate nor awkward. Ozzie has never shied away from where he came from, nor has he put Venezuela above America. As a kid who came up in Venezuela poor, to achieving the ultimate goal of one's profession (a World Championship) I can't fault the guy for being proud of where he came from.

To me, if you want mockery and inappropriate due to turning one's attention to another country, look no further than this:

Nothing more classy than becoming "Irish" just for a day as an excuse to drink like a moron, act like a moron, and kill a few brain cells in the process.

As someone who is half Irish, I find that sort of nonsense (especially the excuse to drink at 10am) more "inappropriate" than this:
