A good friend of mine worked with Milo at KDKA in the 70's and I have gotten the pleasure of meeting him a few times.

His hatred of Harry Caray continues to fester all these years later.

He told me one story that sums up his disdain for the man.

One day the Cubs were getting blown out and Harry gushed that the crowd had not left Wrigley and said on air "These people are waiting to hear me sing."

Milo retorted "Harry, we have an off day tomorrow. Why don't you tell the folks you will be singing at 2 PM and let's see how many show up." :tongue:

Milo was bitter as he left Pittsburgh for Chicago being promised Jack Brickhouse's job.
