The New York media thinks that is exactly what will happen. The Steinbrenner brothers remember what happened with their former brother in law when he cheated on their sister.

Ironically, he's named Cashman for a reason. He's going to be spending big money both on and off the field.

His countenance always struck me as weird. He looked out to lunch. It's not like he has to do too much running them, with that unlimited cable revenue stream.

Eventually, guys like A-Fraud, Jeter, and Rivera will calcify. Teixeira has even slowed down the last couple of years.

Now that he's out at home, I wonder what the Steinbrenners will do.
