Normally I would read this, but tomorrow's column by Phil Rogers tells me the Sox have ruined Sales by working him out of then 'pen. So I know what I need to know, but thanks anyway.

I'm worried about Sale starting this year. I'm hoping he becomes one of the few pitchers with his delivery to not have elbow problems.

The Trib article carried a photo of Sale in mid-pitch with that horrible "M" shaped delivery. Makes you wonder which set of ligaments in that left arm will go first.

Rogers's column (http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/columnists/ct-spt-0124-rogers-spring-training-white-sox--20120124,0,5541393.column) was posted the night before. I can't promise you won't still be confused after reading it, but I promise to take no more than half the blame.

Not nitpicking with your post, but just wanted to clear this up for everyone else too.

The delivery Sale has is an inverted W. It's easy to call it an "M", but what makes it an inverted W and not an M is that the delivery doesn't make an M since an M has straight legs as opposed to the slanted legs of a W.

Appreciate the clarification......a blown out elbow by any other name is still a blown out elbow.:D:

No "s" in Jewel.

He was pointing to the fact that his name is Sale and not Sales.
