As far as catching ability he makes Josh Paul look like an All Star.

I think its a great opportunity, and I could not have asked for a better organization considering the situation I have in front of me and the fact I grew up a White Sox fan

-Ryan Sienko.

Good for him...nice to read he's a Sox fan.

For anyone that cares, his EQA for the Northern League was .396, and he was almost 40 runs above replacement level. His ML EQA was .283.

looks like being swept by KC really jump started the front office into action. they went straight out and made a move. too bad it only affects SINGLE-A. this has probably been in the making all month and now they think they're done thru the trading deadline. but whatever. it's something.

LMAO!

:KW

"We feel we have solidified the catching position for years to come with this move. We felt this kid has more talent than the 3rd and 5th rounders we decided not to sign from the 2000 and 2001 drafts."

BLA!

Join the club. Both were/are outstanding athletes and hitters. It's hard to build an organization when you refuse to pay the talent to get it in the door.

Assuming he gave the Sox the rights to re-select him, Tony Richie may end up the Sox selection in the 2003 draft.

LOL! We'll do it just to spite him from before and not sign him again!

Great Seinfield reference as well:

Jerry: "Excuse me I'd like to return this jacket."

Teller: "Certainly. May I ask why?"

Jerry: "........For spite..."

Teller: "Spite?"

Jerry: "That's right. I don't care for the salesman that sold it to me."

That one was a classic. Too bad the manager nixed the return...

WinningUgly: The answer is D .. "All of the above" & that's my final answer.

I think Kenny Williams spends too much time looking at himself in the mirror & imaging being on the cover of GQ....Gentlemens Quarterly. He thinks it better to look good than to be good.

I don't care if he looks as ugly as Dennis Rodman if he does a great job managing the White Sox.

I've hated Kenny Williams ever since he got rid of my beloved Herbert Perry & just look at the terrible things he's done since.
