I got two White Sox gifts that I love - a Paul Konerko t-shirt, and a DVD of the Blackout Game. Now I have some GOOD White Sox baseball to watch when I'm pining for White Sox baseball in January! I have a few 2011 games on DVR, but frankly the thought of watching those are kind of depressing...:D:

A set of White Sox drink coasters with "game used" dirt from US Cellular Field. And an authentication hologram on the dirt. The gift tag said it was "from: Adam Dunn's cleats," so I can pinpoint where it came from on the field: between home plate and the third base dugout.

Some stores may take items back without a receipt but instead of giving you cash, they may give you store credit.

A good Christmas here at casa del tebman: everything was pushed back 24 hours to accomodate the sons' and daughter's schedules, and our celebration was completed today. I can report that I am the proud recipient of Richard Roeper's "Sox and the City" book, a 365-day White Sox desk calendar (gifts from my sons), and a silver-and-black scarf crocheted for me by my daughter that will probably be useful on a chilly Opening Day.

Ah, it's good to live in a White Sox household! :gulp:

If you want the same cap just in a different size, you can usually do an exchange without a receipt. But if you want something different, as LLF said, you're probably looking at store credit.

Me? I received a Sox toaster. Not just a toaster with the Sox logo on it, mind you, but a toaster that imprints the Sox logo on the toast! I really wish I could make Sox toast for each of you (please, no Adam Dunn jokes here). Once again my husband was horrified when I told him this: You want to make toast for how many people, he asked?
