He's not more popular than Konerko. And certainly, if we're taking the casual fan's opinion into consideration, he's not more popular than Thomas. But yes, he's incredibly popular.

Buehrle or Konerko...you decide.

I say Konerko for the simple fact that people get to see him play everyday rather than a pitcher go every 5th day.

Konerko has had some brutal half-seasons. My suspicion is that Buehrle is more consistently popular.

I'd consider getting a jersey for either of them and I don't buy a lot of jerseys. Personally I'd pick Buehrle if I had to choose but please don't make me do so.

In their respective careers, Buehrle has induced 278 GIDPs and Paulie has hit into 247. Can you imagine how many GIDPs would be produced if they faced each other regularly?

For me Paulie, he could've gone elsewhere for more money but he stayed here and wants to stay here. For that reason alone I like Paulie more.
