Can the new owners be sued over the sins of the previous regime? I would think the Yawkey Trust is a more likely target but I am not a lawyer.

It has been well documented that Fitzpatrick was a bad apple. :angry:If they're a corporation, then its the corporation being sued, which they can do. It doesn't matter who currently runs the corporation.

When you buy a business, you purchase the assets and liabilities. Unless, the seller is a dumbass who does not include the liabilities.....
