He did help build the 2004 title team for you. But really, who else but Showalter and Duquette would work for the Birds right now?

Angelos is the worst owner in the game right now. Bar none.

They could hire Jesus and it wouldn't matter. The O's are completely totally irrelevent. (and in that division forget it...)

Jeff Loria is laughing at you.

In 2009 I made a bet with an Orioles fan that the Orioles would not make the postseason in the following decade.

I still feel super confident that I will win this bet.

He is awful too. But his teams are at least reasonably competitive.

A second chance for the Duke

I have always given Duquette a lot of credit in rebuilding the Red Sox. His downfall was a complete lack of public relations.

Duquette was responsible for Pedro Martinez, Nomar Garciaparra, Derek Lowe, Jason Varitek, Tim Wakefield, Hanley Ramirez, Freddy Sanchez, David Eckstein, Shea Hillenbrand, and Johnny Damon. The Red Sox of the early 90's were a complete mess. He overall did a good job.

14 straight losing seasons. Haven't won more than 70 in the past 6 seasons. Finished 3rd once in that stretch; haven't been out of the cellar in the past 4 years.

Completely and totally irrelevant has pretty much nailed it.
