After seeing Twins come back from 7-1, the same score the Sox made look like they were down 20, there were some obvious answers:
- Twins have so much more heart than the Sox do. Yes, some of them may be punks, but at least they're into the game.
- Even w/all their injuries, they've had terrific starting pitching depth. Thank you Mr. Williams for trading all of our youngsters.
- Twins have line drive hitters that work the count, Sox have a lot of guys that try to hit homers (LOFTON!) and swing too early in the count.
- Twins have a reliable bullpen, Sox have Marte at least!!
- Twins have a 10 game lead, Sox might not win 10 games the rest of the year!

Twins have everything that we dont. They have a division-championship caliber ball club. We have a cellar-dwelling team about now. This is sad. Detroit, Cleaveland, KC, and Baltimore. What an opportunity to pound some crap teams and make up ground. Will we even win a series? :(

They have two things we don't have...a left nut and a right nut.

The Twins also have turf. The Sox have grass.

The twins record on turf is about 31 - 9 and they are below 500 on grass. They are team built to play in the twinkie dome, and unless they get home field advantage, they won't go far in the playoffs.

I agree with all of the above. However you can add to that....

Competent team management and coaching staff.
