Since this is where threads about the Miami Marlins should go, here is a report (http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/09/27/2426808/report-ozzie-guillen-headed-to.html) from The Miami Herald about Ozzie Guillen heading to the Fighting Fish.

I stopped reading after the article mentions that during the 7th inning of the game vs the Nationals, several fans were chanting Ozzie, Ozzie, Ozzie.

They don't even have several fans at the game!

I guess they figured that if they were paying the beer vendors etc. to be there, they might as well get some use out of them...

The Marlins have called a press conference (http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/09/28/2429033/ozzie-guillen-to-be-named-new.html) for Noon (Chicago time) to announce the hiring of one Osvaldo Guillen as the team's 12th manager.

Not surprisingly, Cowley is in Miami today. I wish states had visa, and Illinois could revoke his visa, forcing him to stay there.

Lol, how does he justify that one? EDIT - never mind, he's no longer our beat reporter.

Cowley really should quit the Sun-Times and just work for Ozzie as his PR guy. Oh, wait...

That Herald writer sounds like a real moron to me.

Did Cowley change his name and already get hired in Miami?

I wonder if Ozzie's welcome celebration is going to rival LeBron's welcome celebration (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmwJipHdqpA) to Miami?

The Guillen family may be gone, but could Ozzie Jr. remain in Chicago? If the Bulls take the court, he will still do the Spanish language broadcasts of their games. I don't see him doing the Spanish language broadcasts for the White Sox in 2012, but I wouldn't rule it out of the question either. Whatever he does, it seems that Ozzie Jr. is rather more level headed than his father and next youngest brother are.
