Baseball is not quite dead at Sun Life yet.

Maybe we should have traded Ozzie for him last year........

Maybe that deal was never on the table.

Maybe that deal was never on the table.

The player in question was Logan Morrison, not Mike Stanton.

That 1st inning blast was a moonshot. Would have been on the roof at Old Comiskey for sure.

I watched that game last night and if I wasn't so lazy I was going to start a thread on Stanton's 2 blasts.
I've watched quite a few Marlins games since I moved to Florida and I've never seen a shot like his first one. It would have cleared the roof, not landed on the roof at old Comiskey. At the Urinal it might have hit the building across Waveland on the fly.

I remember Sammy Sosa once breaking the window on a building on Waveland. And Glenallen Hill landing one on the roof of that building.

Of course, they both liked to take their vitamins.

I think King Kong Kingman also hit that building back in the late 70s.

I believe Hack Wilson did it in his prime too. Wilson also hit what some say was the longest home run ever in old Ebbets Field.

It also could have hit the fundamentals deck at our current park. He didn't miss a stitch of that baseball.
