@scottmerkin

Viciedo arrived late today, told Ozzie felt like a 10-hour flight. Viciedo
starting Sunday at first or in right field. Could supplant Dunn.

Doug Padilla

No longer a third baseman, Viciedo played eleven games at first base at Triple-A Charlotte.

We can all have bad dreams tonight about what Ozzie will do with the next line up card.

A LHP is starting tomorrow, so Dunn was not playing anyway.

Okay, this is the big kid's chance to shine. May he be a valuable contributor to the Sox for the next decade.

Dayan just needs to follow the lead of Alejandro,Tyler and Lilly and just relax and do his thing. They have boosted the Sox with their stress free relaxed play...and Dayan can do the same. Nothing to lose...just have fun!

Just bat him clean-up today. Get him started off well.

Amazing that JR is paying $12M/year for a part-time, half-DH bad hitter.

If Viciedo comes in and hits the ball consistently, I wonder how many line-up tricks Ozzie will perform to make sure Viciedo's success does not over shadow Dunn's failure. The "I will play the best players to help us win" mantra falls on deaf ears. I know both KW and JR want Rios and Dunn and their combined $28M on the field!

Dunn is accepting a possibly diminished role for the rest of the season.

He has been having a diminished role lately platooning with Lillibridge. I have no idea what this means, maybe platooning now with Viciedo and Lillibridge.

It's only one game, but besides the home run and single, the thing I was happiest with was seeing him taking pitches that he would have chased last year.

He walked a lot more in AAA this season than at any level in the past, so that is encouraging.

Dunn should feel guilty every time his direct deposit hits.
