This is a weird road trip in the sense that it's only five games (two in Anaheim between a pair of off days and three in Seattle). What are your expectations and desires?

I'm expecting to go 3-2 (split in Anaheim, taking 2 in Seattle).
I'm desiring to split in Anaheim and sweep in Seattle. I think we just need to start stockpiling wins, and that it's really a need to go 4-1 on this road trip.

3-2 is about right.

The only thing I can say for certain is that there will be a lot of very annoying train horns in Seattle.

With this team who knows from day to day? But they have played much better on the road this year.

I think we need to win when possible. We have put ourselves in a spot where we need det to lose more than we need to win. I would say no less than 3-2, but if det goes 0-5, then 1-4 is better than losing ground.

So win more than det.

Hopefully the Rays can rough them up really nicely this week. Detroit is there for four starting tomorrow!

what pitchers are we expected to get in Seattle?

two tough ones in LAA........

3-2? would be satisfied.........4-1 or 5-0? Jump for joy....shocked

but given where they are in the standings they really almost have go at least 3-2 here

I'll be upset if the Sox don't go 4-1 or better. Seattle is really, really bad and this is a great opportunity to make up ground on Detroit.

I don't necessarily *expect* them to do that well. But I think it's doable--especially if they play like they did today.

Let's just hope Detroit can lose some games here. We have to pick up a game a week on them now on average since the season's done in 5 weeks from Wednesday!
