Well that's a dumb article. Let complain about marketing. Its all their fault we are a .500 team.

Should have went with "Love it Live" instead. I'm sure that little doofus in the commercial still has his Ben Wallace afro somewhere.

The failure of "All IN'' can be put on the shoulders of Dunn and Rios, if these two had the kind of year they had in 2010 we would be ahead by a least 5 games.

That suns it all up. This is why we are where we are.

They should have kept twobyfour. I think that was their name.

If they had even marginal years by their standards, this would be a different season.

One thing marketing can change is having Alex Rios' picture superimposed over "Pride. Passion. Tradition." on whitesox.com.

I want to hurl every time I see that.

+1, especially as the AL Central is arguably the worst division this year overall.

Obviously THIS is the key to marketing victory and attendance records:

I'm sorry, but nothing is worse than the 2007 "Grinder" campaign or the 2008 "Swagger" campaign.

"Dye with the catch. Swisher with the worm! I can't stand it!"

Yeah, I don't think anybody could stand that.

Sadly, Kenny / Ozzie take the "All In" slogan literally. As in, "we blew our wad (of cash) already, no flexibility to improve the team mid-season". So they have to pretend Adam Dunn is a cleanup hitter this year. As in "the eggs are 'all in' one basket"; usually not a good strategy. As in, "I'll take my last $5 and put it 'all in' lottery scratchers." That seems to be the organization's mantra, uh-huh.

I didn't mind the slogan and still don't. Reinsdorf did his part by shelling out the cash. The players let him down.

My complaint with the marketing campaign is that only two commericals were shot. The Konerko and Pierzynski spots were cool...for the first 100 times. After that, they get old. The season is six months old. Why not shoot at least a couple more so the commercials don't become so stale?

Why not shoot a commercial with Mark Buehrle and Chris Sale? Those two have been unconscious for the past 3 months.

Why not shoot a commercial with Carlos Quentin after the numbers he's put up?
