What wonderful timing.
We're stuck with the team we have as it's about to prove themselves pretenders in a weak division.
Oh well. Even with Konerko in the lineup, I wouldn't expect to beat Sabathia.

Looks like the annual August swoon started early this year.

Even though it was early in the game, I was hoping Ozzie would bring in Thornton or Sale in the next inning to drill Gonzalez since a Buehrle fastball isn't, well, all that fast....

Yikes
is our 3-4-5 vs CC tonight going to be TCQ/DUNN/RIOS......?

I'd rather see the Birmingham Barons play at this point.

Konerkos' injury has been expanded to a deep bone bruise and it's actually closer to the knee.

Scott Merkin: PKs knee showing little improvement

Dunn's glove last night was even more of an indication that we miss Paulie. I wouldn't rule out a trip to the DL at this point.

Sox have been hit 61 times through PK's plunking...most in the major leagues.

How many of those are TCQ's, and where would we rank without him?

He's usually near the top of the league, not surprising given his stance.
Cousin has a free ticket, looks like tonight will be my first game the season.

So apparently, that HBP aggravated a nerve, which has kept Paulie out. He might swing a bat tomorrow. All this is per Hawk.

All the beat guys said he's expected to miss Wednesday's game.

You mean all of his nerves weren't aggravated enough having to watch Dunn hit?

We are a terrible team without Paul Konerko. I mean Charles Barkley Tearable!
