Mid Season Local TV Ratings

According to the Sports Business Journal, the Indians have the biggest local ratings change since mid season last year, up an incredible 80%.

Tied for second are the Rangers and Giants (35% increase), Pittsburgh (33%) and Milwaukee (32%).

The teams with the biggest ratings decrease?

San Diego (down 26%), Dodgers (-27%), the Mets (-29%), Houston (-34%) and Tampa Bay down a whopping 37% from last year.

Philadelphia is doing very well even though their market compared to other Northeastern teams is small (CSN can only show games as far north as Trenton - next town Princeton becomes Mets or NYY) - to the south Baltimore kicks in at the Delaware/Maryland border. Scranton they share with the Yankees and Mets but they do have PA until Harrisburgh where the pirates kick in.
