When I saw the thread title, I expected the Onion headline to read "White Sox sweep Twins in doubleheader."

That would have worked too.

At the game the other night, they listed on the scoreboard the top ten or so teams that the Sox have wins against.

The second place team is the Indians. Third place is the Tigers. Not surprising given that both teams, like the Sox, have been around since 1901.

First place? The team the Sox have beaten more than any other? The Washington Senators/Minnesota Twins. I was shocked. It was over 1,000 wins. When did this happen?

When the franchise stunk for the majority of the 20th century?

Pretty close to the truth considering how the Twins played against Texas on Monday when they got whacked 20-6 and had to bring Michael Cuddyer in to pitch.

I'm sorry, but I have no memories of the White Sox ever defeating the Twins. Ever......
