I will be in town this weekend, at the same time as the Boston Red Sox. I'd love to catch my first (and only) game of the 2011 season. But the dynamic pricing has given me sticker shock.

As late as last summer, I found that I could reliably buy tickets on the street for well below face value. Often I could get lower deck outfield seats for $20. Has that still been the case this season? Obviously, this being the Red Sox could change things.

it may depend on tommorow's game

Be sure the seller accompanies you to the gate to verify the bar code has not been scanned already.

There are good tickets available below face value for the Saturday game listed in WSI's Ticket Exchange forum. Hint hint, nudge nudge.

Yep, prices were gonna drop (with the exception of Frank day Sunday) anyway as the weekend got closer due to a glut of supply, but if they lose today it could be a fire sale.
