Per the Score, had a rehab start today.

Four pitches and left the game-elbow blew up again.

In all seriousness, I hope he's not severely hurt. He's a man trying to earn a living.

That said, stay down there as long as possible, Tony. The bullpen is much better without you there mucking things up.

How will we go without him?

He's my most reliable reliever outside Jenks on MLB10 the show...

That's too bad. I was hoping he'd be lights out and then the Sox could trade him for a prospect.

Nope, the White Sox operate the other way around. They trade prospects (http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=allen-002bra) for players like Tony Pena.

Didn't see anything about this in the newspapers on line today. Does anybody have a link?

Maybe he needs Tommy John surgery?

He's not that good. Maybe him and Dunn can form some sort of Chicagoland car-wash chain.

I'm going to be honest -- I completely forgot he existed.

If he can rehab and come back more effective, fantastic. If not, please stay down there/on the DL as long as possible.

Yeah, Brandon Allen hit a super long home run. On the bright side, though, he stinks.

Stinks? His numbers state otherwise. I don't miss him that much, but he's certainly more desirable then Tony Pena.

He's nothing special and if he were on the team right now people would be screaming about another all or nothing Sox hitter...

Sox reliever Tony pena says he's out for rest of '11, will see Dr. Jobe in So. Cal later this week, surgery likely on arm

He'd only be able to wash right-hand drive cars though...and not even that effectively.
