Gillick also said that he has no interest in being a full time GM. I wouldn't be surprised if he came in as a "consultant". They need a strong hand to fix that mess.

Ricketts should talk to WSI. We have many high-quality baseball General Managers whose talents have not been properly recognized.

I never said it's a bad thing. I just think that it is obvious there is a deep well of talent right here at WSI Ricketts can tap into.

It's not a joke, it's sarcasm. And it gets old after about the first 1,000 or so times that somebody brings it up, whether it's referring to the Cubs, Sox, whatever team.
