He's starting to remind me a bit of Swisher, with his "look at me" antics while not producing on the field (moreso due to injury than outright suckiness, but still).

It's the Jake show with special guest Mark Prior. To close the show Jake will have on Kerry Wood.
Maybe the show could be called the Simulated Hall of Fame

Beat me, Dirtbag!

I, for one, like to hear more from our Chicago White Sox players. Great webisode, Jake.

"Here's my take. I'll pitch about 12 innings and strain my hammy, pull a groin, injure my shoulder, throw out my back, rupture an ingrown toenail...you know the drill. It's all good, my ranch has avoided tornadic activity in Alabama, I'm set to hit the steakhouse tonight with Alexei (he'll watch me eat of course) and I'll maybe do another commercial for Frankfort Chevrolet."

I heard Peavy's remarks today for the first time about how he needed more than 2 runs against KC the other night. And while it is true that the offense has been terrible, I think the fact that Peavy is the one to say it is repulsive. He's done NOTHING to help this team since he's been here. He's been all talk and I'm sick of it. Start pitching like an ace and not a damn sixth starter and shut the hell up about run support.

Very rarely do I like a player less once he gets here but Peavy has joined Swisher in that category. Both of them were/are clowns.

Everything he's doing is uncharted territory. I fully expected that he'd have to be mediocre before he got good, if he was going to get good again. You cannot say a thing until next year. This is NOTHING like the Swisher situation. Nothing.
