Just now between innings, with the Cubs leading the Pirates 5-3, manager Mike Quade and starting pitcher Ryan Dempster got into a dugout argument. Quade wants to pinch hit for Dempster, but Dempster wants to stay in the game.

It's your coach, Dempster. You look like a ****ing clown.

He's basically flicking off his bullpen by wanting to stay in the game in that situation.

Quade has lost control of the Clown College.

Every pitcher wants to stay in the game. Dempster only threw 87 pitches and was winning the game. In hindsight, it worked, thanks to Samardzija and Wood. Quade doesn't understand staying with what works (see pulling Rodrigo Lopez against us).
I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Quade gets canned after one year.

+1 Cubs have blown a lot of leads this season.
