So am I. Charging 7.50 for a beer is nuts.

Can someone let me know what these guys are making per beer? Reading this is sounds like 25 cents a beer at the cell? That seems like nothing. Do they get hourly?

Then don't buy it.

I can't as much as I used too.

What's the difference between deer nuts & beer nuts?

Beer nuts are a dollar fifty. Deer nuts are under a buck.

When I got back from a game in Minnesota last year, I was telling a beer vendor I know (Ron Raney who is quoted in the article) that the beer guys at Target Field don't have shoulder straps for carrying their inventory. They have to carry it without any straps. He told me that the Twins pay them $1.00 per beer and the Chicago vendors wish they could get close to that per beer. IIRC, he said the Chicago vendors get $0.50 per beer.

That's a tidy margin for the vending companies, and whover else splits the revenue generated from those sales. They generate $168 on a case of beer costing no more than $15.
