This one should be pretty easy to prove by the stat-heads

Does eye color affect vision? Isn't the pupil the part of your eye you see with?

I don't know enough about eyes to even begin divulging this.

Soooooooo what's the point of this? A baseball player says he thinks eye color has an impact on his performance, but no evidence to support it? Maybe next week MJ, Shaq and Kobe can talk about how shaving their heads directly related to winning multiple championships.

I doubt it or it would be common knowledge. Like fairer skin gets sunburn worse, blacks are more prone to sickle cell anemia, etc.

Some people with lighter eye color may be more sensitive to bright sunlight. Darker colored eyes contain more pigment and this helps to protect against bright sunlight.

Optometrist vouches for him.

According to him, lighter colored eyes let in more unwanted light and more glare. He calls it intraocular light scatter.

Maybe he should try sunglasses.

Here's more than you need to know about the evolution of blue eyes. Fairly recent in the history of mankind. Also might support Hamilton's contention. But sunglasses would be an obvious solution.

Trick question. Doesn't matter. He's a "feel" hitter, so he swings with his eyes closed.
