We have a volunteer assistant who is almost 80, and he spends a lot of time working with the team. However, that is NOWHERE near what Jack McKeon is doing. Way to go Jack! MLB's version of JoePa!

He's only a year younger than Earl Weaver. Weaver has been retired for 26 years.

Supposedly, two of his teammates from his playing days had kids who played an retired from major league baseball.

It will be interesting to see how much of a figurehead he is versus a coach that is going to be working longer hours.
