His disdain for the McCourts is known. Interesting that he has to approve of the contract for the settlement to remain valid. That's so awkward, like Stern giving Cuban the O'Brien Trophy....oh wait! :cool:

It says that there is chance where the team would need to be sold under court supervision. If that happens would baseball have no control over who gets them?

I think Bud steps in and tells them no. He then gets a sale approved to an ownership group that he wants in there.

I think it's in Bud's best interests to approve the contract and make the McCourts go away.

You can't have the premier franchise in the National League spin their wheels much longer.
