This guy really fell off a cliff.

Coop can fix him?

He's 27, lefty, and would have to go to the minors. We have very little depth in our affiliates so why not try it out and hope to catch lightening in a bottle again? Give him a cutter and who knows what happens? It seems like he never recovered from his injuries but why not give him a chance in lower minors kind of like Dontrelle. It is a low risk, high reward type situation.

His fastball gets slower every year. It was always his go-to pitch. His arm seems dead.

Nothing to lose with a minor league deal. That would be about it.

My neighbor's male dog is annoying the female dogs in the area. Can Coop fix him?

Given our lack of pitching depth in the minors, I'd sign him to a Charlotte deal in a heartbeat. He was pretty darn good in that TB uniform a few years ago. Given his injury history this sounds more like a "Herm will fix him" type of situation rather than a "Coop will fix him" situation.

The #Angels, as expected, have released Scott Kazmir and will eat his
$14.5 - million contract

Scouts worried about his body type not lasting over time. I think that is what happened. Unfortunate.

Umm....there is no correlation between the two situations.

I would take a flyer as a minor league contract. Why not? Dude was an all-star not that long ago.

Really? Then why do we keep JP on the roster? Cuz he's good?? No, its because they dont want to eat his contract. The angels ate almost twice what juan is due..

He is the worst player in baseball...period.

That's not fair to Juan....there are plenty of worse players out there

Last time I checked, the Sox do a pretty good job of holding bats down. They can't score runs. Get Coop to fix that, and we'd be fine.
