I just called my rep. That is the only weekend it's being done this year. I'm in Cleveland that weekend for the Sox series.:whiner:

What I never understood is, why not give out an invite to the season ticket holder for as many tickets as that person has?

When I was a season ticket holder, we had 4 tickets and usually 4 different people buying equal shares of the ticket plan. But only two of us got to go each year.

Really? I've gone every year since '08. I had an Ozzie plan in 2007 but didn't get an invite that year...not sure what changed in '08.

Does everyone get 2 tickets? When I was a season ticket holder, I had only 1 seat in my account, yet I always got 2 tickets...It was nice being able to bring my boyfriend to a couple of them! He was fascinated by how well-manicured the field was...He gave two thumbs up to the Sodfather.

Totally agreed! It should be based on the number of seats held. I've got 4 as well and it sucks having to decide which 1 to take while the other two who are just as big of fans and take in the same amount of games don't get to.

That is bizarre that it's only two tickets per account. Anybody ask Brooks about that one? If you bought four separate plans right next to each other, would that entitle you to eight tickets?

I called the ticket office about the 2 ticket limit even for season ticket holders with more then 2 seats. They said while 2 is the default amount, if you have more seats, it's no problem getting additional tickets, you just had to ask for them.

It astounds me how calling the White Sox directly often gets the most accurate information about team policies.

But, that won't stop people from asking WSIers questions that are easily (and correctly) answered with a phone call.

Another good year for the Grinder Bash. I don't know if it was the potential rain that scared some people off, but, the crowd was sparse which made it really easy and quick to get in and out of any where.

The signer this year were Bill Melton. There was a sign for Moose Skowron, but, he wasn't around when we got over there.

Are you still able to play catch in the outfield?

sad to hear that, one of the nicest people you will meet in terms of former ball players and a GREAT guy to have a chat with at Sox Fest, or any other team event he attends......

Get well Moose

Guess there'll be no going on the field again, for the second year in a row.

Damn rain.

I was surprised to see the no-namer game used jerseys for so cheap. I would gladly have paid 40$ for an authentic jersey if any of them were even close to fitting me.

I'll keep an eye out at the clubhouse sale in December.

On my way out of Saturday's event, a few reps were trying to track down a guy who took about 30 pounds of food "to go" in a black garbage bag.

I know the food was free but that doesn't mean to walk out of the place with a tray of ribs. The beer was free too; nobody let me roll a keg out of there.

wow, hope this doesn't ruin the fun for the rest of us for years to come. Anyone know why the bullpen was closed this year?? Every year I've gone people were allowed to play catch and sit underneath.
