we can have a run like we did this time last year, although 25-5 might be asking too much

20-12 is not asking too much and it should put the sox right in it nearing the break.

I think it will happen, but my optimism is tempered by how bad the O has been.

So far we are a Jekyll and Hyde team, lets hope it changes for the better.
Sweeping the BoSox might be the start.

Id take 18-14 if they win the detroit series. Could see 20 wins but that's a lot to ask of a team with this bad of a record.

The team is 4 games under .500 playing the most road games in baseball. They have gotten a lot of their AL East road series out of the way and already had a good west coast road trip. I am feeling pretty good right now.

Sweeping the BoSox might be the start. For real. Dump that Hyde and stick with Jekyll.

That would be great if the White Sox can actually start winning at home.

86-87 wins might be all it takes to win this division. They don't even need a major run. Just play solid baseball and continue to win 6 out of 10.

This divsion is a joke. K.C. and Minny are done. Cleve and Det are .500 teams.

I am hoping that the momentum from the Red Sox series carries into the homestand. The offense indeed has been inconsistent, but Beckham seems to be figuring it out, Pierre and AJ have been pretty good, Alexei's red hot, and Paul is his usual awesome self.

One game at a time; one series at a time. I am hopeful that the alternate universe that is currently the AL Central will right itself, with the Sox on top...eventually.

I am hoping for a 7 - 3 homestand to get back to .500.

The key first is getting back to .500. Then we can all feel better. And we have to remember that things didn't go so well after the 25-5 streak last year. We need consistency, real consistency. Only time will tell us if the Boston series will be a turning point. Meanwhile, enjoy the winning while it lasts, because we don't know if it will.

Very possible and have been one of the few staying optomistic. Hitting is coming around but still needs some improvement, but in a weak division we have a chance. ITS NOT OVER!!!

They need to get hot at home the next month, then after the allstar break, beat Detroit and Cleveland, who they play a ton of games against.

If the Sox can get hot at the right times...like this weekend vs the Tigers, they can reel in the Tribe and tigers in the second half. Hopefully our starters will be far fresher than the oppositions due to our 6 man rotation experiment.
