Sad. He was one of my favorite players growing up. Especially when he played for Montreal with their red-white-blue uniforms.

Always enjoyed Gary Carter on the Baseball Bunch. IIRC, he would bust Johnny Bench's balls about about playing 3rd base, and Carter would do all of the catching instruction.

I wish those were available on DVD, to show my kids.

It did say the tumors were "very small", so hopefully they can eliminate them.

Heard on tonite's Mets broadcast that the news isn't good. I pray for Gary and his family during this difficult time.
