Catch of the Year. Sorry, Sam Fuld.

Unbelievable that he didn't drop that when he hit the ground.

I'm still going with Lillibridge's catch on Cano.

To me Fuld's was better and it's not even close.

That was awesome. He was going backwards, his back to the ball, caught it over his head in mid-air, barely snagged it and still held on when he hit the ground hard. Doesn't get any better than that.

I agree. Fuld looked like a wide receiver as he ran a lot farther and at full speed. The above catch was great and probably more difficult since going back on a ball hit directly at you is probably the hardest catch to make , however Fuld's was incredible.

Can't tell which is more impressive, the fact he made the catch or that he held on to the ball.

I'm with the Fuld camp on this one, since he had to cover more ground and caught more air. Bernadina's is the second best catch so far.

He definitely didn't grab more air than Bernadina, and of course, the only reason he covered more ground is because Pierre's ball was hit a lot less hard than Stanton's. Throw in the fact that the ball over you head is infinitely more difficult to track than the ball hit to your side, and, well, it's elementary.

I give it to Bernadina by a slight edge. Both catches were sensational.

Is there still a link to that Fuld catch out there somewhere?
