For those of you who've been to the park already, have they begun construction on the new team store on 35th St.?

Looks like just some prep work, but the area is fenced off and the signs are up. I'm worried about the old tree on 35th, though.

I thought the same thing--worried about the tree!

And the fenced-off area looks bad, IMHO, when you're approaching from the el. No big deal, just a little less than welcoming.

I think the tree will survive. They are tearing up the ground already and the tree is not part of the area that is being torn up.
