Your closer is supposed to close out games. If Buerhle is going to throw all nine in a one run game, he'll be gassed by June.

The same Buehrle whose thrown 200+ IP for the last 10 years, right? Buehrle's going to have plenty of outings this year when he's horse****, anyone defending Ozzie's decision tonight is out of their god damn mind.

I normally give Ozzie as much slack as anyone around here, but man that was a bad call. I said it before Pierre flubbed the catch, there is no reason to pull a guy throwing a 2 hit shutout who is just pushing 100 pitches and who hasn't struggled. Burlymon was throwing the ball nice and easy all night long. You let him finish...
