The Brewers are done with our one-time prospect. THey'll probably put him on waivers and hope they can assign him to Nashville.

Any way we take a shot at him? I doubt it, but....

He was briefly back in the Sox organization last year, from July to the end of the 2010 season. I don't think he showed anything in those 7 games in Milwaukee to make the Sox want to reacquire Reed again, unless the Knights really need an outfielder.

Reed trade very good.
DLS trade very poor for Sox.

Yeah. People have to remember that it wasn't the DLS trade. It was the Gio Gonzalez trade.

And people have to realize that Gio never would have made it here, people rag on Hudson for "sucking" in his handful of starts here, imagine how they'd like to watch Gio pitch like **** for 2 years before becoming a serviceable MLB starter.

The Swisher deal ended up being a mistake because TCQ exploded on the scene in 2008 as an MVP candidate. The Swisher deal could have been salvaged if the Sox would have been able to trade away Dye before 2009 instead of selling Nick for pennies on the dollar.

Can't see how the Sox go for him. Charlotte has De Aza, Gartrell, Danks, and Viciedo all in the OF. Plus Restovich, but he's just a filler.

Speaking of Danks, I'm almost ready to want him up with the big club even if he hits .000 just so we can put him in the outfield in save situations.

An outfield closer. They could have their own entrance music and everything.
