That's not Stewie's voice in that clip, it's of a mock announcer.
They better not fire the guy who did that. It's always good to be self-effacing, plus this should only increase ratings for Mets games as people will tune in to see what other funny stuff occurs, other than on the field.

Reminds me of when the White Sox employee got fired for playing "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake when Chuck Finley was visiting with the Angels right after his (then) wife Tawny Kitaen beat him up with her stiletto heal. :?:
