From the Daily Herald:
When the White Sox play a day/night doubleheader at Detroit on July 13, manager Jerry Manuel said a current minor-league pitcher is likely to start one of the games.
A decision still has to be made, but the Sox might give Class AA Birmingham left-hander Corwin Malone a look. Malone is 8-5 with a 4.34 ERA at Birmingham.
There doesn't seem to be much help at Class AAA Charlotte, where Jim Parque (4-7, 7.62 ERA) and Jon Rauch (2-5, 5.72) are still trying to rebound from shoulder surgery.
