I agree with the writer. This is kind've silly considering it is Spring Training.

God, this is why I love baseball. The best sport. The best tradition. I'm not going so far as to say any of it makes sense, mind you. Can't wait for the season to start.

It's spring training, and Fox at the time is trying to break camp with the big club. He has every right to show what he can do. Leyland and Showalther need to get their panties out of their asses and shut the **** up.

If I'm that minor league pitcher, I want Fox to swing and give me his best. The only way to get better is to do your best against the best.
