For anyone who might have some insight here (vic, randar, kermit), what's the word on Wade Parrish? He's put up decent ERAs first in Birmingham, and recently with Charlotte. His K:BB ratio isn't anything to blow you away, about 1.2:1 and the same with his WHIP, nothing outstanding. Any potential for him to help the Sox? Or is he more of a solid minor leaguer that would be over his head in the bigs?

Solid minor leaguer whose big league upside is the 9th or 10th guy on the pitching staff. We got him for McKay Christensen so that should give you a good idea of his talent level.

Matt Guerrier...
Solid Minor Leaguer, potential middle reliever, nothing more IMO.

Matt Guerrier is still better than Parrish although they are pretty similar from that standpoint.
