Sorry if I scared you.
What time is it over there in the Negev, 2AM? You should be in bed.

What effect does stomach flu have on a latissimus dorsi?

None we hope.
I had some stomach flu last year and lost 6 lbs.

Only midnight. We don't start daylight savings time for two more weeks. Besides, Friday is like Saturday in the US since the work week is Sunday-Thursday here.

My eyebrows shot up practically to my hairline. Glad to hear it's just the flu (which sucks, but still).

If you all hadn't heard yet, Jake's been battling a pretty nasty flu. Sounds like he may miss tomorrow's start.

Though he needs the mound time, if this is the worst news we hear tied to his name in 2011, I'll take it.

On that note, here's wishing a speedy recovery!

Yes, to a speedy recovery. Don't spread it around 13 days until opening day.

Remember Jake: Old time proven south side cure for stomach ailment is
shot of peppermint schnapps. Something about the peppermint herb is soothing plus the schnapps is antiseptic. From my childhood 55th and Honore.
