IDK, but in your image there is a big screen tv... isnt that to up to date for the Urinal? :scratch:

I think they still need to get the green light from the City.

I think they need to find a way to pay for it, since the state pretty much just laughed when they asked for financing.

I would have to check with my friend at the City who used to be one of the people involved in such decisions, but you're probably right. Portions (but not the entire structure) of The Urinal are landmarked and any changes have to be approved. This drawing would run into problems since it looks like a severe deviation from the historical look, feel (and smell) of the building.

The Cubs say on their page -The team and the City of Chicago have reached agreement on these designs, which reflect four years of input from community residents and City officials.

Red Sox only ran into a snag when they tried to rebuild the bullpen and the state said no.

the first link is what the TRIBSTERS had in mind. the newer graphics are more indicative of what the ricketts' thought up.

both look impressivde. i just doubt it'll happen before 2016.
