Got an iPhone today, and was looking at MLB At-Bat. The real reason I'd be interested in it is the ability to listen to live games. I already get MLB Gameday Audio. Do I have to purchase At-Bat separately, then? That's kind of really annoying, considering it's the same content.

It's a nice app. Combined with mlbtv it'sd really cool to watch live games. Local games are blacked out, but it was cool being able to watch sox games when i was out of town on vacation.

I've had it three straight years on my iphone. Just bought it again last night. WELL worth the value. I'll buy it again for the ipad 2 when i get it:gulp:

Bought it last year and just bought this year's about 5 minutes ago. I agree it is definitely worth the money.

Any other baseball apps you guys can recommend?

I'm looking at Fangraphs and MLB Trade Rumors.

i LOVE this app.. its the main reason I'm buying the iPad (next to getting to face time with my boyfriend who will be gone the next 6 months)... last year they had the "free game of the day" where you could watch the live broadcast without an mlb.tv account-- but this year im buying mlb.tv to watch the Sox games since they are now out of market for me here this year.

the quality of the video and audio is awesome. i used to plug my phone in through my speakers of my car to listen to the games bc 670 was kinda shoddy sometimes in peoria via radio.

Whatever they charge for the app nowadays, that is the best way you can possibly spend that denomination of money. Watching day games at class/work on your phone is so full of win.

Using my At Bat 11 for the first time this year. Was pleasantly suprised that now you can still listen to the game while you text or go online! As a matter of fact I'm listening to the game right now on my phone and typing this post.

Best $15 I've spent on ANY technology, not just baseball.

So if I wanted to do all my devices:

$119 or whatever for MLB.tv
$14.95 for iPhone
$14.95 for iPad

$150 or so? or I'm I missing something?

Last season I could also get MLB.tv on my Ps3 with no additional charge (had a mlb.tv subscription).

Yup. the iPhone app is not universal. I had to spend the $15 for both the iPhone and iPad, but watching games on the iPad is worth it.

I had not been able to either, until just now. I just updated the app (I have MLB At Bat for the Iphone). Now I am able to log in with my mlb.com account and I can see a game, and the Volvo ads as well...

What I need to do is to make sure that I don't get automagically signed up for mlb.tv when this freebie expires.

That is for iOS only, no Android.

The PS3 version is awesome. And it's free with your MLB.tv membership. The only drawback is the stutter.
