I know the Feds have something like a 95% conviction rate when they bring this level of charges against someone, but I really can't see them winning this case. Bonds' defense is that he took what his trainer gave him and he didn't know it was steroids. There will be a lot of hearsay, but unless somebody has a tape of Bonds talking about his steroid use, I don't know how they can get him on perjury. Hopefully I am wrong.

Especially when that trainer has been willing to spend some time in the slammer rather than testify against his client.
