Per Jim Cantore from The Weather Channel, Clark and Addison has been closed down by police because of "falling debris". He couldn't confirm where it was coming from but... could it be??? First the Metrodome and now the Urinal??

EDIT: Maybe I should've made the title, "The Blizzard..." instead of "The Snow...", either way... hurray!

Now Jim is reporting that "some of the siding" from Wrigley Field has been blown off the stadium and onto the streets.

Ricketts thought Elmer's Glue would hold it in place.

Does this mean State Farm and not the State of Illinois will pay for renovations?

We live on Fullerton between Clark and the Lincoln Park Zoo and the wind and snow are terrific. Now we have loud thunder. We live on the 6th floor and our sliding glass doors are flexing and deflecting. Our condo faces north east.

Wrigley is about 1.75 miles north of us.

If there was any more proof the Cubs need a new stadium.

Fine, let Ricketts pay for it. AND let them play their 'home games' in Milwaukee or St. Louis while he is doing so.

Good luck to them! (LOL)

Lip,

Some sheet metal, tek screws, caulk, & cargo netting and it will be back good as "new".

Should've used Wrigley's chewing gum instead.

I had classes at iO and was walking around there and they would not let people walk anywhere near Wrigley, one person told me that a cop told them that they were worried that the sign was going to fall.

that's sacred wrigley field debris. Cub fans may make a treck in this snowstorm to retrieve the wrigley litter.

Yankeet (http://twitter.com/Yankeet) The Cubs have announced that the damage to Wrigley Field will be repaired in October when nobody is there. (http://twitter.com/Yankeet/statuses/32791707477090304)

Gotta love [to hate] a team that gives you excuses to make fun of them not only during the season, but year-round.

@jimmyfallon (http://twitter.com/jimmyfallon): Wind blew the roof off Wrigley Field. The Cubs called it the worst disaster at Wrigley since every season for the past 103 yrs

They are blaming it on winds out of the south side.

... meanwhile Cub fans continue to pay ridiculously more attention to which way the wind blows than fans of any other team or sport.

To bad the Blizzard didn't level this dump... then again, if it did, the poor people on LSD would've been left to die while the Cub media went to Clark and Addison and cried and wondered what happened to the best baseball team ever home stadium.
