Makes sense. New stadium, Mets havent had one in decades. Some Washington fans on another board I frequent are pissed because they thought they were going to get it, and New York City did just have one.

It'll be 49 years between ASGs for the New York Metropolitans. They last hosted in 1964, the first year of Shea Stadium.

Washington will get one soon enough.
