I love that ballpark- great setting, unique without overdoing it (i.e. Houston)- and very intelligent fans- my favorite in MLB.

It really is an amazing ballpark. Easily on the top of my list and I've been to 12+ ballparks.

Petco is really nice too.

For anyone considering going to a game in SF, I highly recommend sitting in the upperdeck with a view overlooking the Bay. It's spectacular.

I went back in '02 with my Dad when my family was in SF on vacation. The Giants have always been my favourite NL team.

We took the train there from our hotel...may have been BART, I'm not sure. I was young.

We sat in the upper deck, third base side. It was beautiful. I would love to go again someday.

I'll say I went to PNC Park back in '09 and that was absolutely amazing. As of right now my #1.

Train is the SF Muni (which connects with BART in the Market St Subway)

Back in 2006 I was in San Francisco for a week and went to both parks 2 days apart - pics are from an old cellphone so they are not the greatest, but it brings home just how different the two parks are.
